KATIE + NATE, ENGAGED – DENVER ENGAGEMENT SESSION

Katie and Nate have known each other for a long time.  This couple is so seriously unique, and I am so blessed to have the opportunity to work with them.  Katie, as you can see, is simply gorgeous … and Nate, you aren’t too bad yourself.  When I met Katie and Nate last year to talk about their wedding and photography, they told me their engagement story.  It is seriously probably the best one I have ever heard.  Katie was vacationing with her parents in Italy, and Nate surprised her at a restaurant.  He came out dressed as a waitor and asked her to marry him.  She had no idea that he was even in that country.  WOW!  I seriously get chills every time I hear this story.  

I had an amazing time telling a love story between these two … and their super cute dog Jackson.  Nate is a teacher at East High School in Denver, so we started there, and made our way to City Park.  Thank you both for sharing your stories and your love with me :)  I can’t wait to shoot your wedding in Keystone this August!

MICHELLE + NICK – ENGAGED, LARKSPUR ENGAGEMENT PHOTOS

I met Michelle and Nick a few months ago.  These two are so seriously ridiculously cute and in love … it’s like I almost don’t exist :)  And I am a hard one to miss when I am asking you to do a few things with a giant camera and lens in your face.  Michelle and Nick, you two are awesome!  You seriously worked it out for me.  I am looking forward to your July wedding!   P.S.  I LOVE shooting in new locations and Michelle and Nick totally had faith in me when we pulled up to this desolate little campground :)   Thanks guys!

KERI + KYLE ENGAGEMENT, DENVER COLORADO

Last week I shot Keri and Kyle’s engagement session in Downtown Denver.  It was so much fun.  Keri is so kind, gentle, and gorgeous!  Kyle is so intuitive to Keri… it really is neat to be around these two.  It’s almost as if they knew what the other was thinking before it was said!

Another uber cool part of this session is, WE CAUGHT THE LEAVES :)  Before they officially fell off that is.  It’s so hard to judge here in Colorado, they are on one day and gone the next.  Keri and Kyle, thank you for choosing me to document such a special time in your life!  I can’t WAIT for your June wedding!

I met Katie and Brad a few years ago at Suzanne and Kirk’s wedding in Vail.  They were part of the wedding party (and what a fun wedding party it was).  This year, it’s their turn.  They are getting married next Spring and I am thrilled to be capturing their day.  These two are hawt :) And adorably in love!  We had a ton of fun during their engagement session downtown.  Katie and Brad had me laughing the entire session because of how excited I was about the shots we were getting.  Katie and Brad, thanks for the fun!  I can’t wait for your wedding next year!  Congratulations on your engagement!
