COLORADO WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER: FEATURED, COUTURE COLORADO!

I know – I am WAY behind on blogging.  Things have been crazy – but I am super excited to share tons of recent stuff with all of you :)  I have had some uber fun sessions and more fun weddings on the way! Wedding season is in full swing – and I am enjoying all of the bestest clients in the entire world :)  I’m back to designing albums and all that jazz.  In other news – Matt, my amazing husband and I, shared our 6th wedding anniversary this week (hence the moment of silence)!  I feel like it were just yesterday that we were married ourselves.  I am incredibly blessed to have such an amazing husband and father for our daughter.  Love you babe!

I’m super excited about Toy Story 3 – it will be our first movie as a family … wish me luck!  And – Eclipse is just around the corner – yes, I love Vampires.  I’m anxiously awaiting the new iPhone (seems like I was just waiting in line for last year’s release).  I am loving Summer and hope all of you are too!

KERI + KYLE ENGAGEMENT, DENVER COLORADO

Last week I shot Keri and Kyle’s engagement session in Downtown Denver.  It was so much fun.  Keri is so kind, gentle, and gorgeous!  Kyle is so intuitive to Keri… it really is neat to be around these two.  It’s almost as if they knew what the other was thinking before it was said!

Another uber cool part of this session is, WE CAUGHT THE LEAVES :)  Before they officially fell off that is.  It’s so hard to judge here in Colorado, they are on one day and gone the next.  Keri and Kyle, thank you for choosing me to document such a special time in your life!  I can’t WAIT for your June wedding!

NATE + ANGELA ENGAGEMENT, DENVER COLORADO

I am a true believer that people come in to your life for a reason and that everything happens for a reason.  Nate and Angela are the winners of the free wedding give-away.  They are so incredibly sweet … and sooooo in love!  Matt, Ava, and I had the pleasure of having dinner with them a few weeks ago.  Their story is truly romantic … and Nate’s essay brings tears to the eyes!  I am so honored to have met them and to be photographing their wedding.  Nate and Angela, not only are you clients, but you have become our friends! Nate was a little nervous about this session.  He apparently remembers his traditional senior photos all too well.  I hope that I broke the mold for you Nate!  I had a blast with you two.  I can’t wait to shoot your wedding next June.  P.S. Thanks for the adorable things for Ava… there’s a picture of that coming soon!

I am super excited to let you all know that we have officially welcomed Natalie as part of the KMP team.  Natalie has been my assistant and second shooter.  I’m sure many of you have met her at your event … and if you haven’t, you should!  She is now officially… drum roll please… an Associate Photographer.  I am happy to have her as part of the team.  If I am booked for a wedding, or you are looking for a “no frills” package, Natalie is your girl! Over the next few weeks we will be rolling out her own blog and officially getting her up and running.

In an effort for us to get to know her better, here are a few fun facts:

Birth Location: Riverside, California
What’s your favorite part about photography? Using my creativity, and being able to freeze time in a photograph.
The shoes you wore today? The ones that hurt…oh wait, that’s all of them :)    Some cute brown wedges.
Fear? Growing up, spiders, fish (I know, weird right?), and my husbands dirty socks :)
Favorite Food? Any Italian food, but mostly pasta…yum!
Starbucks? Heck yes! Carmel Macchiato, please.
What’s on your ipod? Lets see, a little bit of everything: Straylight Run, Angels and Airwaves, The Starting Line, Anberlin, Tom Petty, Relient K, Queen, just to name a few…

photographik!  Pretty exciting news!  For those of you that don’t know about photographik, here is some information striaght from their website,
