This session is SMOKIN’ HOT I have known Ashli for quite some time … and I think she is stunning. I had such a blast roaming around a big open space with these two!

LAUREN + BRANDON, ENGAGED! DOWNTOWN URBAN ENGAGEMENT SESSION

It’s all about the click. In my business, I love that “click”. It’s the click that I get when I talk to someone, or meet them for the first time, and know that I LOVE THEM! Lauren and Brandon are that kind of “click”. They are both from Colorado but currently live in New York City. When I spoke to Lauren on the phone the first time, I knew that she was fabulous, fun, and my type of girl! I was SO excited that they chose me to shoot their wedding. So, they were in town for Christmas and we set up their engagement session. Seriously … these two rocked my little socks off! I truly LOVE them We had a ton of fun (on a very cold morning) wandering through Denver. Lauren, Brandon and I laughed. A LOT. They remind me why I love what I do so much everyday.

Fave. You two are such an awesomely amazing couple!

SARAH + ANDREW, ENGAGED! DENVER RAILROAD ENGAGEMENT

When I first met Sarah, I saw how gorgeous she was. Are you kidding me with those amazing blue eyes? She boasted about her fiance, how awesome he was, and how much she missed him since he now lives out of state. Truth be told, I knew Sarah was amazing from the moment I met her. Then I met Andrew. Helllloooo, more blue eyes These two are awesomely amazing people, and when they are together, the world better watch out.

We had so much fun in the cold … and melting snow (yeah, I stepped in a puddle and sank up to my ankle in 30 degree weather, but my cold piggy’s said it was worth it, and they were right!) to capture their love. Sarah and Andrew, thanks for bringing the awesome. I have WAY too many favorites from this shoot. I am so happy for you and your upcoming wedding! Hugs – Karie!

NICOLE + GARIN, ENGAGED! LODO ENGAGEMENT SESSION

I have been talking to Nicole for what seems like forever now (really it’s been about a year). She and Garin live in Kansas City … which most of you know, is where I grew up before moving here 5 years ago. She told me about her and Garin, how they met, and about their amazing wedding day. I knew we were a match. Since, we have talked over email, and the phone, planning and organizing their big day. But, this was the first time I actually got to meet them in person! Let me just say … I am SO excited for their wedding this month. It’s such a small world … and come to find out, we knew a lot of the same places around Kansas City. It brings back some great memories The way Garin looks at Nicole is priceless. These two have a special kind of love. One I can’t wait to capture later this month on their wedding day. It’s going to be SUPER!

KERI + KYLE ENGAGEMENT, DENVER COLORADO

Last week I shot Keri and Kyle’s engagement session in Downtown Denver. It was so much fun. Keri is so kind, gentle, and gorgeous! Kyle is so intuitive to Keri… it really is neat to be around these two. It’s almost as if they knew what the other was thinking before it was said!

Another uber cool part of this session is, WE CAUGHT THE LEAVES Before they officially fell off that is. It’s so hard to judge here in Colorado, they are on one day and gone the next. Keri and Kyle, thank you for choosing me to document such a special time in your life! I can’t WAIT for your June wedding!

KATIE + BRAD ENGAGEMENT, DENVER COLORADO

I met Katie and Brad a few years ago at Suzanne and Kirk’s wedding in Vail. They were part of the wedding party (and what a fun wedding party it was). This year, it’s their turn. They are getting married next Spring and I am thrilled to be capturing their day. These two are hawt And adorably in love! We had a ton of fun during their engagement session downtown. Katie and Brad had me laughing the entire session because of how excited I was about the shots we were getting. Katie and Brad, thanks for the fun! I can’t wait for your wedding next year! Congratulations on your engagement!

I heart the next image! Brad spotted this wall and said, “hey, that’s a cool wall” … in which I replied, “yes it is, let’s use it”. Little did I know that we would catch their reflection. Ahh! I love it! This is going in the studio!
