Let’s be honest, this Spring in Colorado is ridiculous! It’s snowed, rained, thunder snowed, hailed, blown … and it has postponed a handful of shoots. So – Natalie and I decided to go and have some fun without the sun Here’s a few of my faves of Natalie.

JEN + DION, EXPECTING!

One of the best parts of my job is the relationships that I make with my clients. I really do love my clients … and I really do feel like I get the best ones in the whole entire world. I met Jen and Dion a LONG time ago. I shot their wedding in the early days of KMP. They have remained good friends of mine. I seriously heart Jen as she is one of the sweetest and most caring people I know. She remains a fan of my work, and my updates, and everything in between. I LOVE her support for KMP! A few months back, they asked me to take their maternity photos. They were expecting a beautiful baby girl, who has now ARRIVED! I am so very excited for them and their newest family member. Since I didn’t get a chance to blog this session with all of the wedding craziness, take a peek. Jen is one of the most beautiful pregnant people ever, and her and Dion’s love for each other promises to make them amazing parents. Addison was born on October 15th. Welcome to the world Addison. Jen and Dion – congratulations! I am so happy for you!!

O’shea is a senior this year and has an awesome urban style! He is a skateboarder … and brought his board along to show me a few tricks. We marched around downtown and found some awesome urban locations to match his style. O’Shea, have an awesome Senior Year! It goes by so fast!

NICOLE + GARIN, ENGAGED! LODO ENGAGEMENT SESSION

I have been talking to Nicole for what seems like forever now (really it’s been about a year). She and Garin live in Kansas City … which most of you know, is where I grew up before moving here 5 years ago. She told me about her and Garin, how they met, and about their amazing wedding day. I knew we were a match. Since, we have talked over email, and the phone, planning and organizing their big day. But, this was the first time I actually got to meet them in person! Let me just say … I am SO excited for their wedding this month. It’s such a small world … and come to find out, we knew a lot of the same places around Kansas City. It brings back some great memories The way Garin looks at Nicole is priceless. These two have a special kind of love. One I can’t wait to capture later this month on their wedding day. It’s going to be SUPER!

THE KLINE FAMILY – URBAN LIFESTYLE PORTRAITS

I heart this family! I met Mary-Anne when I did a session for her a few years ago. Since, she has had a son, about the same age as my daughter, and we also did a newborn session with him. Over all of this time, she has told me how beautifully in love with her husband she is, and what an amazing man she married. Seriously, Mary-Anne beams when she talks about her family. Her husband was serving in the Army and was deployed for about a year. I haven’t ever had the opportunity to meet him … until this session. I had SO much fun rocking out these family pictures downtown with their amazing family! I am so happy for them to all be reunited! It was so nice to finally meet the entire family!

I personally thanked Jeremiah for serving for our country … and I’ll do it again! Thank you so much for doing what you do! Mary-Anne and Ethan … You have so much courage and strength, and I totally admire this!

ANGELA AND NATE: THEY DID! DENVER BOTANICAL GARDENS WEDDING

LOVE … LAUGHTER … FUN! I am truly amazed by sharing Nate and Angela’s wedding with them on Saturday. You will remember them from their AWESOME engagement session HERE. Nate and Angela were our First Annual Free Wedding Give Away Winners! Nate wrote the most AMAZING story of he and Angela’s love. It is really one of the neatest things ever! They will be helping us judge this year’s give away. SO STAY TUNED!

Angela and Nate were married at Our Lady of Loretto Catholic Parish in Parker. Their wedding reception was at the BEAUTIFUL Denver Botanical Gardens. Unfortunately, we had some weather that came through, so dancing had to be moved inside, but they still had an absolutely AH-MA-ZING day. Nate is one of the kindest people I know. He is SO genuine. Angela is STUNNING, warm, and so caring! I love these two and feel so blessed that our paths crossed!

They had some amazing details at their wedding. Sit back and enjoy the ride, this is going to be a long post!

The dinner was in the Ballroom …. BEAUTIFUL

Because there was a lot of ground to cover for the guests, they had these flip flops in a wide array of sizes that guests could take … pretty cool party favor!

During Dinner, they had 3 stations, the first was my favorite, it was a salad bar … you chose toppings, they mixed your salad in Martini Shakers and put them in Martini Glasses!

I LOVE really unique details … after the first dance, the catering company began serving guests with these … HOW CUTE!

So after dinner, toasts and dances (and a good hail storm), we got to go back outside. Angela changed into a more comfortable dress (with these HOT shoes) … Ang, I love you girl!

Again, I love Angela and Nate … this is totally them!!

Nate and Angela, I can’t thank you enough for sharing your LOVE STORY with me … and allowing me to share such a special part of your day. You are such an awesomely special couple. GRACE + JUAN ENGAGEMENT, DENVER COLORADO

Grace and Juan are awesome!! I have been talking to Grace over email for the past few months. I knew before even meeting them that they were my kind of peeps Imagine my excitement when Grace showed up with her pink kicks on We shot their engagement pictures downtown and had a blast. Grace and Juan are both graphic designers who moved here to Denver from Southern California. I am so glad they did! I had an awesome shoot with them… soooo many faves!

HAPPY NEW YEAR

I am breaking my 2008 “new blog resolution” and posting without a picture… but the truth is I am spending the evening with my family (and our newest blessing/addition who has a cold right now). When I reflect upon 2008, I am so greatful. I was surrounded by friends, family, and the most amazing clients! Thank you all for making me who and what I am today.

As I look to 2009, I am overjoyed and overwhelmed with the things to come. This business has grown leaps and bounds since the beginning… and for that, I thank each of you who faithfully read my blog or support my art I am truly blessed to do what I love and what I am so passionate about. KMP has some very exciting things in the works, and I am soooo excited to work with all of my new clients. I seriously get the most fab clients ever.

Thank you! To my family and friends… I love you I promise that 2009 is going to be exciting… so sit back and enjoy the ride. Happy New Year everyone!

KERI + KYLE ENGAGEMENT, DENVER COLORADO

Last week I shot Keri and Kyle’s engagement session in Downtown Denver. It was so much fun. Keri is so kind, gentle, and gorgeous! Kyle is so intuitive to Keri… it really is neat to be around these two. It’s almost as if they knew what the other was thinking before it was said!

Another uber cool part of this session is, WE CAUGHT THE LEAVES Before they officially fell off that is. It’s so hard to judge here in Colorado, they are on one day and gone the next. Keri and Kyle, thank you for choosing me to document such a special time in your life! I can’t WAIT for your June wedding!
