DENVER BOUDOIR PHOTOGRAPHER: J’S CORVETTE BOUDOIR SESSION

I have had the opportunity to work with J.  She is not only beautiful, but a super sweet person.  We have been collaborating for months about her shoot, and she blew me away with some of her ideas.  I shoot a ton of boudoir sessions, but because of their personal nature, I don’t mind if my clients choose to share or not.  J was fantastic and offered to share on the blog!

I swear she looked like Jessica Simpson in this shoot.  From a Colorado tropical pool setting, to a toasty fireplace, and a BLUE CORVETTE, this session promises to top my list in faves.  J, thanks for being awesome and letting me share some of your fabulous shoot!

PINUP’S AND BOUDOIR: DENVER WORKSHOP

I was so excited when I was asked to teach boudoir studio lighting at the MHP Workshop.  MHP is a fantastic organization of photographers in the Denver area.  They put together a studio lighting workshop that ranged from Fashion, Kids, Seniors, and all the way to Boudoir. I arrived with butterflies in my stomach – ready to make my teaching debut.  I had two of the best models in the world – and some fantastic groups that came through with very talented photographers who were eager to learn all things Boudoir!  I’d lie if I said I was a brilliant public speaker.  In fact, I used to get boo’ed in my public speaking class in High School because I made this clicking noise when I was nervous.  It was just a tiny click – but I did it often (unconsciously – speaking to the group).  I think I have banished that over the years.  I didn’t hear myself make the click once :)  Score!  Here are a few of the shots I captured during the day.  And if you are a photographer new to the area, check out MHP.  Or … email me for more information!  Thanks to all of you who came to the workshop and shared with me  :)

BOUDOIR BASH, DENVER BOUDOIR PHOTOGRAPHY, THE CURTIS

Due to popular demand, we are pleased to announce our next Boudoir Bash (a KMP exclusive).  We will be hosting a Valentines Bash on January 10th of 2010.  KMP will be providing an awesome location at the super stylish Curtis Hotel, light snacks, and champagne. This time, we will be teaming up with the amazing Rachael of Girls and Curls who will be providing airbrush makeup and hair styling.  She will also  be providing touchups and assisting with a ‘tosseled look’ if you want multiple styles during your session!  She is fantastic so get over to her site and check it out.  Your 2 hour appointment will include makeup/hair, and an hour worth of shooting.  You will receive a private online gallery to view and order your images from, as well as a custom photo box with 10 of your favorite images retouched (4×6 size).  We only have 6 spots available, so please email or call the studio ASAP to reserve your spot.  A $200 deposit is required.  The box and images will be back in time for you to surprise your significant other for Valentines Day!  You can also add a High Res DVD of images, Albums, Print Enlargements, and more!  We look forward to hearing from you soon.

LOVE NOTES – DENVER BOUDOIR

Boudoir … it’s super sexy, modern, and totally something that KMP does a lot of.  Recently, I have been trying to expand our online portfolio so that people who are looking for boudoir photography can see more of what I do for these sessions.  They make great gifts for … well … anytime!  I wanted to share a testimonial from a recent client.  Look for more of these each week!
