My style is very couture, fresh, and fun. In other words, these aren’t your parent’s wedding photographs. I strive to capture my couples as who they are, how they love one another, and tell the story of love. I want a couple's pictures to be a reflection of them. I am inspired by fashion, which allows me to capture my clients in a way that is unique and editorial.

KATIE + BRAD ENGAGEMENT, DENVER COLORADO

I met Katie and Brad a few years ago at Suzanne and Kirk’s wedding in Vail. They were part of the wedding party (and what a fun wedding party it was). This year, it’s their turn. They are getting married next Spring and I am thrilled to be capturing their day. These two are hawt And adorably in love! We had a ton of fun during their engagement session downtown. Katie and Brad had me laughing the entire session because of how excited I was about the shots we were getting. Katie and Brad, thanks for the fun! I can’t wait for your wedding next year! Congratulations on your engagement!

I heart the next image! Brad spotted this wall and said, “hey, that’s a cool wall” … in which I replied, “yes it is, let’s use it”. Little did I know that we would catch their reflection. Ahh! I love it! This is going in the studio!

We found this staircase that had some awesome natural light pouring in. I didn’t use a flash or any other lighting source on this image (for you pho-togs out there )

RANDOM UPDATE

I can’t believe Halloween is tomorrow… where has the fall gone?
My baby is already 9 weeks old. I am really not sure why they grow so quickly. It seems like I was pregnant for an eternity.
The 8 week shots (immunizations) really make babies as fussy as they said it would.
I have been swamped with new really AWESOME clients for 2009. Welcome for those of you that are new! I am so excited to have you on board and part of the KMP family.
I came back from maternity leave in October and have had some rockin shoots! Woot Woot! Keep reading for more on those… and I am editing them as quickly as I can. They have been so much fun.
I can’t wait to print these pictures of the newest love of my life (don’t worry Matt, you are still my #1)

NATE + ANGELA ENGAGEMENT, DENVER COLORADO

I am a true believer that people come in to your life for a reason and that everything happens for a reason. Nate and Angela are the winners of the free wedding give-away. They are so incredibly sweet … and sooooo in love! Matt, Ava, and I had the pleasure of having dinner with them a few weeks ago. Their story is truly romantic … and Nate’s essay brings tears to the eyes! I am so honored to have met them and to be photographing their wedding. Nate and Angela, not only are you clients, but you have become our friends! Nate was a little nervous about this session. He apparently remembers his traditional senior photos all too well. I hope that I broke the mold for you Nate! I had a blast with you two. I can’t wait to shoot your wedding next June. P.S. Thanks for the adorable things for Ava… there’s a picture of that coming soon!

CARISA + BRANDEN WEDDING, BRECKENRIDGE COLORADO

Carisa and Branden had an amazing wedding in Summit County. I have been working with them for about a year now and have truly enjoyed every bit of getting to know them. Branden has worked in film, so he brings some pretty neat ideas to the table … you may remember them from their engagement session. Carisa was stunning and had such a unique dress! Branden was looking hot. We had a rockin bride and groom session on the lake … ahhh! I so love my job! Carisa and Branden, thank you! You are phenomenal and we are so happy for you!

I loved the way Carisa’s father looked at her as they walked down the isle. These are the moments to be treasured forever!

For those of you that know me, and how I work, imagine my excitement when we arrived at the lake and saw this huge piece of drift wood! Yeah, it was pretty exciting!

Carisa and Branden had this awesome stir-fry buffet (you made your own combination and the Chef’s cooked it for you).

The stir-fry caused a little alarm to go off …

BRECKENRIDGE COLORADO

Matt, Ava and I spent a few hours in Breckenridge before returning home on Sunday after the fab wedding of Brandon and Carisa. I will be blogging that soon … but, here are a few of the pics from Ava’s first mountain trip… and furthermore, our first trip as a family I love Colorado!
